The Puma M-1911-22 is a rimfire version of the famous and popular M-1911. It is extremely accurate and is weighted and sized just like a full size M-1911. It makes a great practice gun for IDPA or IPSC shooters and Cowboy Action "Wild Bunch" participants. Economical to purchase – and to shoot – the M-1911-22 also makes a great carry gun for hikers and fishermen, and for general plinking.
The Puma M-1911-22 comes with two-piece wooden grips that are interchangeable with standard 1911 grip panels. Sights are standard G.I. configuration and are also interchangeable with 1911 .45 sights. It has a 5 inch barrel with a 1:16" rate of twist.
The M-1911-22 weighs 38 ounces. It is designed to shoot .22 LR cartridges and has a magazine capacity of 10 rounds. Each pistol is factory tested for accuracy and reliability, and can achieve groups of .75" to 1.5" at 25 feet.

Performance
I purchased this pistol hoping for a function M1922 22 LR. The overall appearance of the pistol is great, however during the 1st 100 rounds I had approximately 6 missfires and several problems with ejecting shells. I used Reminton hollow point shells. Perhaps it was the shells, but they worked fine in my Ruger Mark III.
