Love my Slad Side
This is one of Rugers finest. I have several Rugers but wanted a pistol to setup for target shooting, and this was my choice. Other than a new gun cleaning, I didnt make any changes to the gun and took it to the range. Shooting 15 yard targets got me just a bit high and a little left. Ater a couple sight adjustments, it was right on using Remington Golden Bullets. I was not real pleased with the trigger as is was a bit stiff and gritty. I want to shoot a few hundred more rounds and then look inside and see if it needs a bit of tweaking or maybe an upgrade. For most folks, the trigger is very good and will serve them well and will shoot in to a crisper feel. The pistol has a very nice feel and is great for single hand shooting. Two hand is very good but the thumb rest on the left side requires a slight grip modification with the support hand. Nothing to cause any concerns however. Overall, the gun is beautiful and cleans up nicely after a day at the range. If you want a good looking, accurate, and very reliable 22 LR, this is your gun. The gun is not cheap but your getting an all stainless steel gun not plastic that is built like a tank that you can pass on to your grandkids and theyll love you for it.
