Very Pleased
I picked up the 738 TCP a couple of months ago. Great little shooter. Ive run about 250 rounds though the gun without a single failure. Also helped that the cost was about $100 less than the LCP. This was my 4th purchase from Keenes/kygunco this year. Great folks. Congrats on the new facility. Looking forward to seeing it soon.

738 TCP is a winner
Picked up a 738 as a second CCDW firearm for the car. Price was sweet. I have taken it to the range several times now as I work to get use to the pistol. WOW! This thing works great. Functions 100% reliably, accuracy is good for this type gun. Side-by-side with my LCP the little Taurus seems a better gun. Better trigger, last round bolt hold open, more accurate. Whats not to love I have bought a few firearms from Keenes over the years and have always been treated like a valued customer. Great place.

Good so Far
Just couldnt pass up the great price. Not a problem, but so you know this is the model FS that comes with one magazine. Still under 200 rounds so far and has been flawless with FMJ. Am now testing various JHP brands to ensure reliable feeding, so its too early for a 5 star rating. I agree that the DAO trigger is better on TCP vs. LCP based on live exercises with both in same session. Great customer service - I ordered online and all went smoothly.

Not impressed
Cleaned the gun real good and went to the range. Before I got to 100 rounds I had 4 failure to feed and 5 failure to extract. The last round I fired didnt extract and the barrel got jammed half way back. Sent it to Taurus. Hopefully they make it right.

TCP EPIC FAIL
Bought this gun last month. Price was nice, so I thought Id try it. Cleaned it and took it to the range. It consistently locked the slide open when the magazine was NOT empty at least once every other magazine. I tried the only 2 kinds of ammo I could find locally one FMJ & the other JHP of reputable brands. I sent it back to Taurus. It does the same thing. Im going to trade it for another LCP.

TCP 738 .380
I cleaned the gun right out of the box and loaded it with Fiocchi 95 grain brass. I shot at a target I had made from 7 and 10 yards. I shot the entire box of 50 through the gun and had no issues at all. Grouping wise I shot at a 4 inch by 4 inch black area on a piece of poster board. From 7 and 10 yards, I was easily able to hold in that area as well as my wife who is a novice shooter. She shot about an inch outside the area maybe 5 times, but she very seldom shoots. I also cycled 6 rouds of the Hornady Critical Defense rounds I purchased with no issues. So basically the little $200 gun functioned flawlessly. The trigger pull is very long, but it is smooth. The gun kicks being so light, but my wife, who has tiny hands, was able to control it. I have medium to large hands, and for it being such a small pocket pistol, it felt pretty good grip wise. For a defensive carry gun I would have to give it 5 out of 5 stars. It functions, is accurate, and is comfortable. Again thanks Kentucky Gun Company for a great experience!

500 rounds +
Five hundred rounds into my TCP only s couple failures. Failed to feed but only if you load one in the pipe with a full mag that second round doesnt want to load. Mine does this with both mags but I rarely carry +1 so and since it has zero failures loading 6 from the mag it matters not at all to me. Fired over 100 rounds of my carry ammow Critical Defence and no feed issues. My daily carry gun for most days. With a small IWB holster it is unnoticeable even with basketball shorts.
