Best kept secret
The PPQ M2 is the best polymer pistol available today. There I said it, but Im not alone in this opinion. A million Glock owners just tuned the rest of this review out. Dont get me wrong, Glock is an important brand but akin to your Toyota Corolla commuter car. The Walther PPQ M2 is no commuter. This new version of the PPQ and formerly variants of the P99 brings something the American market has been asking for - button style mag release. It also features the very best trigger on any striker fired pistol right out of the box. The break is like ice and the reset is 2.5mm, yup you read that right. Add to the equation excellent ergonomics and a lifetime warranty by the new Walther Arms USA after exodus from S&W and its no wonder people who shoot one say I shoot this gun better than any other I own. If you have not shot one, go find one at a range and wrap your mitts around it. Thats all youll need to buy this pistol.

Great trigger but...
The good. The gun has a unbelievable trigger pull and reset, better than any striker gun. Fits well in the hand. The bad. Horrendous customer service. Bought one, slide lock broke first time out. Trying to get work done through Walther is more painful then getting a mouthful of root canals. Had to pay to ship to them, 75$ via FedEx. Took six weeks to get it back. No spare magazines anywhere. If you call or email they will tell you about two weeks. They have been telling people this for 6 months.

Best trigger reset in a stock handgun
Have put hundreds of 9mm Winchester White Box through it with no problems. Once you get used to the short trigger reset you realize just how fantastic this gun is. I think other manufacturers are going to copy this trigger action. Hope they come out with this in a more compact CCW model.

The weapon fits your hand well, trigger is perfect the sights are good. At 20 yards I was hitting a 6 in shoot group and I am not a pistol person. The field strip is easy and simple to clean. This is not my best weapon but a great carry ,not too heavy.
