They lack some polish of other more expensive brands but I’ve never had a misfire. They run and run well. I own a high end competition, a carbine, and an 18" A2. This was to be my basic, no frills, take anywhere with no worries rifle. It fits the bill. I put 5lb trigger springs in it to lighten the pull a little, being a decent mil spec trigger. Only other addition was good metal sights, keeping it simple with no optic for now. Took it out to my range for sight in. No malfunctions whatsoever, with brass ejection to the 2 and 3 o'clock positions with different 55 grain ammo. Accuracy was excellent considering basic sights, achieving regular hits on 6" steel at 100 yards. Only hiccup was needing to tighten the screws on the free float m-lok handguard, but no big deal. I would recommend this rifle for anyone on a budget, first timer, or just want something basic.
