The new X-Bolt 2 Hell's Canyon LR SR has barrel specifications that make this rifle an excellent choice for both hunting and long-range practice sessions. The lengths of the fluted heavy sporter contour barrels have been optimized and run 2" longer than standard lengths (to a maximum of 26") for added bullet velocities. The muzzle is threaded 5/8"-24 and is ready for use with an optional suppressor. The Hell's Canyon LR includes a Recoil Hawg muzzle brake and thread protector cap. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated for consistent accuracy.

The Plus Magazine system has easy insertion and ejection with a convenient side mounted release button.
