Pass the velcro strap around your ankle and through the front buckle, closing it backwards tightly. Make sure to wear socks high enough to allow the velcro strap to mount on the sock to avoid any rubbing issues. Cover the holstered firearm and ankle rig with your pant leg. When un-holstering, pull up the pant leg above the firearm and draw fast and decisively.
