A hammer block mounted in the recoil shield provides extra protection and has a red dot indicator that lets you know when the gun is ready for action. A new, more authentic looking flat-sided hammer paired with new exotic cocobolo grips, makes the Rough Rider both functional and handsome. I shot it today and loved it. 4/16/2021 ** ** ** ** ** ** KyGunCo Verified Customer Ottawa, KS Bought it to go with my lever gun. A little clunky but still fun! 1/14/2021 ** ** ** ** ** ** KyGunCo Verified Customer Raleigh, NC Warning, even though this gun has a safety, it's not the safest gun. The hammer on mine can drop on the 3rd click, so if you are trying to fire quickly, the gun can go off when the cylinder is not lined up with the barrel resulting in... well, do the math. Mine shoots a bit high but the windage is dead on almost. It's rock solid otherwise. For the price it's definitely a 5 star pew pew. 9/10/2020 ** ** ** ** ** ** KyGunCo Verified Customer Campbellsville, KY These little .22's are a lot of fun. I've picked up 3 so far! No issues to speak of, they work just like they should. If you're looking for a fun plinker pistol, you've found it! 6/22/2020 ** ** ** ** ** ** Manuel Guzman Tamarac, FL Great little revolver. 6/17/2020 ** ** ** ** ** ** Gene Sarasota, FL Love this gun, very accurate and fun to shoot. I bought a set of pearl grips and made it even nicer, only drawback is blueing coming off in a couple of spots where holster is rubbing. As soon as you get 45 long colt 5.5 barrel in stock Ill be ordering it too. Highly reccomend Heritage to anyone looking for a decent inexpensive revolver 11/9/2015 ** ** ** ** ** ** michael springfield, KY great buy and a great plinker! very useful for teaching basics to younger shooters. 9/30/2015 ** ** ** ** ** ** Greg Independence, MISSOURI Bought one of these by recommendation of a friend. First time at range shot 200 rounds in stationary hold. Nice group 2 diameter at 25 feet. Problem is groups are 3 to the right and 6 low. Contacted Heritage and they said I could adjust sight by bending and filing. If I do, it voids the warranty. Second option is to send it in and they would adjust turnaround is 4-6 weeks. Very disappointed they do not sight the pistols closer than that before selling to the public, and then suggest how to correct THEIR problem that voids the warranty. 4/6/2015 ** ** ** ** ** ** Tom Ogema, WI I order to of these, one for each of my boys. For 148 I was exspection them to me a little chincy but these are the real deal. I love them and we shoot the heck out of them on a regular basis. 3/23/2013 ** ** ** ** ** ## Don't Forget Your Ammo ```json
