At 3x magnification, it offers a wide field of view ideal for navigating dense brush and timber. Dial it up to 18x, and you’ll have the reach and clarity to take on expansive backcountry terrain with confidence. This scope is built around Leupold’s Professional-Grade Optical System, engineered for superior light transmission in the toughest lighting conditions. It features industry-leading glare reduction for crisp images in harsh sunlight, and its resolution and clarity meet the high standards of professional guides and serious shooters alike. The broad zoom range, combined with an in-scope electronic reticle level, CDS-ZL2 ZeroLock® elevation dial, and a removable throw lever, make the VX-6HD one of the most adaptable riflescopes Leupold® has ever produced. The VX-6HD is designed to go where others can’t. Its rugged construction, advanced features, and professional-grade HD optics ensure it’s ready for any challenge. It’s 100% waterproof and fogproof, and like all Leupold riflescopes, it’s designed, machined, and assembled in the USA—backed by a lifetime performance guarantee. FEATURES - 6:1 ZOOM RATIO: A versatile 6:1 zoom ratio gives you 6 times more magnification at high power than at low power (model magnification ranges are available in powers of 6x: 1-6, 2-12, 3-18, 4-24, etc.), so you can dial your power way down for close encounters or all of the way up for long-range shots. The larger the zoom ratio, the more versatile one scope can be. - HIGH-DEFINITION PERFORMANCE: Experience the difference with Leupold's High-Definition lenses, which provide unparalleled clarity, color, and image resolution at all magnification levels. - GUARD-ION LENS COATING: Guard-ion is a hydrophobic lens coating that sheds dirt and water for a maintenance-free, clear, crisp image. - CDS-ZL2 ELEVATION DIAL: The CDS-ZL2 (ZeroLock 2) provides two revolutions of elevation adjustment while eliminating accidental dial movement with the push-button ZeroLock system. It also features Leupold's award-winning Custom Dial System® (CDS®), which allows shooters to order a laser-marked bullet-drop dial to match their exact ballistics and conditions. - ILLUMINATED RETICLE: This scope comes with an illuminated reticle, which creates a visible aiming point for greater accuracy in low-light conditions. - MOTION SENSOR TECHNOLOGY (MST): Motion Sensor Technology (MST™) extends battery life by automatically deactivating illuminated reticles after five minutes of inactivity and then reactivates instantly as soon as movement is detected. - ALUMINA FLIPBACK LENS COVERS INCLUDED: Our high-quality Alumina® flip-back lens covers thread onto the scope to protect the lens from moisture, dirt, and debris.
