I really wanted something that had the ghost ring sights for home defense and camping defense. this does not disappoint. racked off a few dozen 00 and 1oz slugs; didnt feel anything. that butt pad is fantastic. sights are great of course! the internal are so smooth, there is a definite improvement over the 500 internals, just like a maverick 88 to 500 is a major change.
