It gets quite hot on the gas pedal of the support hand due to heat transfer from the metal parts, but it does its job well. It looks better in FDE compared to the original gray. It's what the Gock could have been a generation or so ago. It has good steel sights, steel guide rod, a decent 4 pound trigger per my Lyman, and feels good in the hand. It's been too cold to do much more than pop off a few mags, but I ditched the Magpuls and just went straight Glock 19 mags and I believe she's going to be a shooter. It likes my chosen HSTs. I'm looking forward to the other sized grips.
