It came with wood grips which I like but my finger was tight against the trigger gaurd . So I purchased a set of altamont wood grips with finger grooves and that proved to be much better . I am not holding that against S &W that is just how my hand fits that gun. Also I took the original grips and modified them so they also fit much better . When its all said and done I am completely satisfied with the gun and it shoots perfectly . I also installed a leupold delta point red dot .
