I mounted a Vortex Venom Red Dot with the supplied plate and it looks and functions very well. It is also very loud but has no recoil. I am very pleased with it so far. It really likes CCI 40gr. Mini-Mags. I tried Armscore 40gr. They also functioned flawlessly. I tried Winchester and had issues, so at least my example of one runs the 2 above perfectly. KentuckyGunCompany had the best price I could find online and everything went very smoothly. Have purchased three pistols and thousands on rounds of ammo from them. Purchased the Walther WMP 22 WMR on a layaway plan. Worked out perfectly. Good reviews on this gun from many sources. My only problem is that it was very stiff at first but getting better. Also, mags don't fit flush with the bottom and i find that i need to reset the mag after a couple of rounds as I get a failure to feed condition. If problem continues, I will send back to Walther to fix or replace. The dealer notified me when the gun was in stock and within a few minutes I had it on the way to me. The pistol I ordered is a Walther WMP .22 Magnum semi-auto. It is a full size pistol and the empty weight is about 28 ounces. Upon receiving the firearm I went to my range and ran a box of 50 CCI Maxi Mag ammo through the pistol with no jams or other problems of any type. Great trigger and the sights were very accurate right out of the box. Take-down for cleaning is a simple process. I highly recommend this firearm and KY Gun Company. 7/20/2022 ** ** ** ** ** ** Vann Rock Hill, SC this is the gun I bought over the Sig and it is so good I love the option of button or paddle to release the mag. I really like that its a .22 Magnum not a .22 LR you have no idea how sweet the gun shoots. Remember use head set this is really loud as all .22 mag's are. Oh and the Walter trigger the best and none are better as of now that I know about.
