Item # 165851 Style WTH-MBC20N653WR8B UPC 747115448487 Condition New Manufacturer [Weatherby](https://www.kygunco.com/brand/weatherby) Model Mark V Backcountry 2.0 Hand Right Hand Finish Bronze Round Capacity 3 Caliber 6.5-300 Weatherby Mag Action Bolt Action Barrel Length 26 in The next generation of the ground-breaking Backcountry family, the Backcountry 2.0 builds on the classic steel Weatherby Mark V action with some key updates. The most noticeable upgrade is the carbon fiber Peak 44 Blacktooth stock, the lightest versions of which tip the scales at under 20 ounces. It feature a 3DHEX recoil pad. Hidden inside the pad are a series of interlocking voids that progressively collapse during recoil, expanding the time component of the recoil impulse and deadening the sharp kick of magnum chamberings. The lightweight fluted barrel utilizes Weatherby's Accubrake ST, while more pronounced spiral fluting on the bolt body not only trims a little weight, it also reduces bearing surface within the action and results in even smoother function. The newly-threaded bolt handle is equipped with a lightweight aluminum extended and skeletonized knob. Built to be the lightest possible rifle and chambered in some of the worlds fastest cartridges, the Backcountry 2.0 is a worthy successor to the throne. **SPECIFICATIONS** - Brand Weatherby - Caliber 6.5x300 Wthby Mag - Model Mark V - Series Backcountry 2.0 - Stock Finish Black with Brown Sponge Pattern Accents - Action Bolt - Sights None, Drilled&Tapped - Capacity 3+1 - Muzzle Accubrake ST - Size Full Size - Application Field - Drop .625" @ Comb & .30" @ Heel - Hand Right - Length of Pull 13.50" - Max Capacity 3 - OAL 48" - Receiver Finish Patriot Brown Cerakote - Receiver Material Steel - Safety Manual Thumb - Stock Description Peak 44 Blacktooth - Stock Finish Group Black - Stock Material Carbon Fiber - Twist 1:10" - Weight 6.20 lbs - Barrel Description #2 Contour, Fluted - Barrel Finish Patriot Brown Cerakote - Barrel Length 26" ** WARNING: This product contains chemicals known to the State of California to cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm.
