Shipped damaged, but fun as hell to shoot!

" My review comes from an avid Heritage Rough Rider shooter. These issues have nothing to do with KYGunco. I want to thank KYGunco for pulling through during the Pandemic. You guys rock, and I'm having fun with my carbine :) Pros: The build quality of the Rancher surpasses that of the classic revolver convincingly. I was initially skeptical of spending 2x as much for the carbine as the revolver, but it's probably a fair deal. This carbine feels a lot better in the hands than the traditional 6-shooters. The trigger pull is WAY smoother too. The stock is beautiful for the price point. The iron sights are relatively consistent, but nothing special. A fine item for the price. I only wish HeriTaurus would take a better look at their firearms before shipping them out. Mine has a bunch of minor issues as referenced below. Cons: The Rancher has the same issue with respect screws coming loose that I have with the Rough Rider. Loctite is your friend; without it, the screws will consistently come loose every 50-100 rounds fired. I'm not surprised and it's no big deal for someone like myself. My biggest issues with this firearm are cosmetic. There are manufacturer's markings all over the areas where the screws were placed. There's so many scratches/chips at the sites where the screws are that I'm surprised this passed quality control. Furthermore mine was shipped with a hairline crack in the stock, which sucks because I have no intention of sending back such an inexpensive firearm that's functioning the way it's supposed to. It's just disappointing that Heritage's QC failed so miserably on the aesthetic side. "

" Shipped quick. Striped screws from factor called and heritage sent new screws... My Son ordered one the same firearm as me, delivered with scratches, missing sling, kygunco emailed heritage but took an acted of congress and 12 weeks to get a new firearm mailed back to heritage, reblued/stripped screws/damaged trigger gard and sling replaced. Hit and miss with cheap. Learned our leason. "
