Okay, let me say, it would have gotten 5 stars. Everything about this pistol is quality. But Beretta dropped the ball with the thumb safety. It's lacking a usable shelf for your thumb. The shelf it does have is small and very far forward. I ordered the XL thumb safety from Beretta and this will make all the difference. But... said safety is 165 dollars. And, you have to put it on yourself (tedious with a 1mm pin to drive out, that's smaller than a 1/16 punch) or take it to a gunsmith. This could have come from the factory with the safety redesigned and be perfect out of the box. Also, 2 mags? It should be 3. But it is a very nice pistol. If you find the factory safety to your liking it's perfect. And if you don't mind buying the XL safety you can make it perfect.

Shipping was fast. Item was as described. The slide to frame fit was extremely tight as a result of the ceramic finish on the slide. I had about 25 failures to fire in the first 400 rounds, but once it broke in, it was fine. Not a knock on KYGUNCO, just a comment on the TN facility’s manufacturing consistency. Still a great pistol for a great price. Appreciate the service from KYGUNCO.

Beautiful gun. Like the SAO style beretta. Has some heft to it. Should make a great home defense gun and range toy.

I want to be transparent: this review comes after a bumpy start. My Beretta 92XI arrived without the printed manual or warranty booklet, and it took several emails to get a real response. However, once a live person got involved, the experience turned around completely. The customer service representative called me directly, explained clearly that Beretta no longer includes printed documentation with their firearms, and offered to send me the warranty booklet anyway. She was professional, cordial, and took the time to actually resolve my concern rather than deflect it.

As for the firearm itself: excellent value at the price point. The 92XI is well-finished, solid, and exactly what I expected from Beretta.

Five stars for how this was ultimately handled, and for a quality product at a fair price. I would buy from KYGUNCO again.

Absolutely phenomenal gun, it is my first beretta 92 and the controls are good with positive clicks. The trigger leaves a little to be desired but I put a beretta match hammer in it and with the reduced take up it is phenomenal. I 100% recommend for anyone looking for something for the range or self defense as this gun shoots flat and wants to go fast.

What can I say, love this semi-automatic pistol from the first time I shot it, recoil seemed almost nonexistent and the grouping was the best that I had ever shot!
