Shipping Methods
We work with trusted carriers to ensure the reliable and timely delivery of your purchases. Our standard shipping methods include ground shipping, for long guns and accessories and Fed-Ex Express 3 day for hand guns.
Shipping Charges
Shipping charges are calculated based on the weight of your order, the shipping method selected, and the delivery destination. You will see the shipping costs at checkout before completing your purchase. We may offer free shipping promotions for certain products or orders that meet specific criteria. Be sure to keep an eye out for those deals!
- Most firearms are shipped free unless otherwise noted.
- We offer a flat-rate shipping fee of $12.99 / 25 lbs for all other orders. (HAZMAT incurs an additional fee of $30.)
- Shipments to the following locations will incur an additional $50 fee: Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico.
Order Processing
Once you place an order with KYGUNCO, our dedicated team immediately gets to work processing it. Rest assured, we prioritize efficient order processing to get your products to you as soon as possible.
Delivery Times
Delivery times may vary depending on the shipping method selected and the destination of your order. We estimate delivery times based on the information provided by our carriers, but please note that unforeseen circumstances or delays beyond our control may occur.
International Shipping
Currently, we only offer shipping within the United States. We do not ship internationally, including to U.S. territories or APO/FPO addresses. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding.
Shipping Restrictions
Certain products, such as firearms, ammunition, and other restricted items, may have specific shipping restrictions due to federal and state regulations. It is important to review our product listings and contact our knowledgeable customer service team if you have any questions regarding shipping restrictions for specific items.
As the customer, you are solely responsible for understanding your state's laws and restrictions. If the firearm you are ordering needs any modification to meet your state's requirements, you are required to contact your FFL dealer before creating an order with us to ensure they will perform the modifications. In the case that a firearm has been shipped to a state where the firearm is not legal, the customer is responsible for return shipping and a restocking fee.
What are my state laws?
Firearms
- Shipping to an FFL Dealer: All firearms must be shipped to a Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer in your area. It's your responsibility to contact your chosen dealer before purchasing from our website.
- Finding an FFL Dealer: Use our [FFL Finder](/dealers) to select an FFL dealer near you. If your preferred dealer isn’t listed, ask them to send their FFL license to us at ffl@kygunco.com. At checkout, if you can't find the FFL dealer you want, simply select "SKIP".
- Inspection Policy: All guns are new and unopened; we do not inspect every firearm before shipping!
- Pickup Instructions: When picking up your firearm from the FFL dealer, inspect it thoroughly for any damages or defects. If there are issues, do not accept the transfer. We will have the firearm shipped back to us at our expense and offer you a replacement or full refund.
- Denial of Transfer: If your ATF Form 4473 is denied, you will be responsible for return shipping and a restocking fee. For more details, see our Return Policy. Once you accept the transfer, the gun is considered used and is non-returnable and non-refundable.
Ammunition
- We cannot ship ammunition to Hawaii, Alaska, Guam, Virgin Islands or Puerto Rico.
- Ammunition must ship to an FFL dealer in California, Massachusetts, and New York.
- Ammunition cannot be shipped to a PO Box.
- Certain states, including (but not limited to) Connecticut, Illinois, New Jersey, and Rhode Island, require documentation before ammunition can be shipped. If you fail to provide the necessary documentation your order will be cancelled, and a cancellation fee will apply.
Tracking Your Order
Once your order has been shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number via email. You can use this information to conveniently track the progress of your delivery. If you have any concerns about the status of your shipment, our customer service team is always available to assist you.
Ownership of your products transfers to you once they are delivered. KYGUNCO is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misused items after delivery.
Pick Up In Store
Allow 24 hours for your order to be ready for pickup. All In-Store Pickup orders must be picked up within 1 week of placing the order. Any In-Store Pickup orders that have not been picked up within 1 week will be cancelled, restocked, and subject to a cancellation fee.
