Designed by American custom knifemaker Lucas Burnley, the Boker Plus Kihon DC 2.0 draws on the Japanese concept of Kihon—mastery of fundamentals—to deliver a clean, capable modern EDC. This updated version refines Burnley’s original vision with improved ergonomics and a lighter, more agile build.
The satin-finished D2 drop-point blade opens smoothly on ball bearings via a removable thumb stud and locks securely with a proven crossbar lock for confident, intuitive use. A 15% weight reduction gives the Kihon DC 2.0 the feel of a lightweight carry while retaining full-size performance. The textured GFN handle provides a secure grip and long-term durability, accented by subtle blue anodized details at the pivot and hardware.
Equipped with a convertible tip-up wire clip and lanyard hole, the Kihon DC 2.0 is a versatile everyday companion—built on the principle that true mastery begins with the basics.
