Rugged and uncompromising, the new X-Bolt Hunter Composite TCB is a bolt-action rifle engineered for pursuing big game across hardwoods, mountains, and deserts. Every feature is designed to deliver precision when it matters most.
Like all rifles in the X-Bolt 2 series, the Hunter Composite is built on a receiver with enhanced bolt guidance surfaces, ensuring smooth and rapid cycling. Its redesigned bolt incorporates spiral fluting to reduce weight and a new handle knob for improved handling. Both are shielded by a durable Tungsten Cerakote finish for long-lasting protection.
A lightweight sporter-contour barrel strikes the perfect balance between accuracy and portability. The threaded M13x0.75 muzzle accommodates the included radial brake and thread protector, or can be fitted with the optional Browning Recoil Hawg Sporter brake for even greater recoil reduction. With a bedded action and free-floated barrel, consistency in accuracy is assured.
The DLX Trigger features a refined three-lever system that eliminates creep, take-up, and overtravel. Factory-set at 3.5 pounds, it can be adjusted down to 3.0 pounds for a tailored pull.
The highlight of the rifle is the black composite Vari-Tech stock. Fully configurable, it allows shooters to fine-tune comb height for perfect eye-to-optic alignment. Length of pull is adjusted internally with spacers for a solid, noise-free fit, while interchangeable grip modules let you switch between sporter and vertical angles. Textured gray rubber overmolding ensures a secure hold in any condition. A 1¼-inch Inflex recoil pad adds comfort, especially when firing magnum loads.
