Buck Knives 112 Ranger 50th Anniv Edition Finger Grooved
The Buck 112 Ranger lock back folder returns to classic glory with ethically sourced Ebony wood covers through a partnership with Taylor Guitars. You are still getting a compact version of the iconic 110 folding hunter, as made for decades, now returning to the original handle scale material. The grooved variant has finger grooves for added traction. Backed by the Buck Forever Warranty, these knives will last a lifetime. This limited production version celebrates the 112's 50th Anniversary (1972) and comes with a custom blade stamp and shield medallion. Only in production for 2022.
Blade: The 3" hollow ground clip point is ideal for nearly any cutting chore from heavy slicing to fine detail work while meeting legal length requirements in many areas. Made from BOS heat treated 420HC the blade offers well-balanced performance with exceptional corrosion resistance and toughness. The blade opens via a generous classic nail nick.
Handle: Familiar 112 construction consists of Brass liners, pins, and bolsters combined with handsome Ebony wood handle scales. Crelicam ebony supports replanting efforts in the Congo Basin rain forest, while providing Buck Knives with a genuine hardwood handle that is nearly indestructible. Prominent finger grooves on the handle deliver added security during use. The Buck 112 offers a heft in the hand that is solid, reliable, and comfortable for use.
420HC Stainless Steel: 420HC is a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. Paul Bos heat treated 420HC is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
