Our first load is a 200 gr. flat nose, hard cast, plain base bullet traveling at 900 FPS from service-length revolver barrels (approximately six inches).
This is a serious self-defense load for old Webley-chambered revolvers and is safe to shoot in any such revolver—including original Webleys—provided the firearm is in ordinary shooting condition.
Important note: Many old Webley revolvers should not be fired with any ammunition if they are not in safe operating condition.
This load operates at or below the SAAMI maximum average pressure standard of 13,200 PSI. All Buffalo Bore .455 Webley loads feature bullet diameters between 0.454 and 0.455 inches.
- 899 fps – Webley MK VI, 6-inch barrel
