At first glance you can see that this is an Equestrians tool. It is the Case 5627 Autumn Barnboard Brown colored knife and tool. It's a great knife to have with you as you are waling through forests or simply in and around the stables.
There is a hoof pick and a super sharp razor edged Clip blade with this particular knife. They have been crafted using Tru-sharp surgical stainless steel which is a steel used because of its ability to retain a sharp edge and fend off rust and corrosion. A handy fingernail groove exists along the top of the Clip blade which provides some assistance when opening the blade from the handle.
The handle is full of charm and rustic likeability due to the traditional looking coloring and pattern. The handle is made using bone taken from Brazilian Zebu cattle for its density. It is then colored and machine jigged in the factory to give a handle that looks and feels charming, and somewhat like old barn doors. A Case inlay shield is fixed into the handle. Polished Nickel Silver bolsters finish the overall appearance of this which is a very nice well made knife for avid fans of Case and horses.
The pattern number for this knife is 6254HP SS. It's overall closed length is 4 1/8” and the weight is 4.4oz.
