Great gun

The gun I received was distinctly different than the one pictured. The Gen 5 Glock you will receive has no forward serrations and has the annoying half-moon cutout at the base of the grip. I know that there is a disclaimer that the item you receive may not be exactly like the one pictured, but KYGUNCO has advertised this item with a picture of the correct model with the grip cutout many times over the years. Why stop using the old (i.e. accurate) picture? The gun works fine, but I would not have purchased it if I had known that it was the older model with the grip cutout.

I bought two at the $369 price. Both I received were in great condition, one may have never been fired, judging by the stiffness of the trigger the first 10 pulls or so, which then smoothed out to a normal Gen5 feeling. Great value for a full-size, night sight-equipped Glock Gen5! Get these while you can!

Saw this one for sale at KYGUNCO and the picture/descriptions seem to be correct for a Gen 5 G17. I placed an order for this Glock 17 Gen 5, which shown forward serration on the picture of KYGUNCO website. When received, the slide seems to be an after market slide without the forward serration and the serial number on the slide does not match serial number of the frame and barrel. In addition, the box has a piece of tape with hand written statement that reads "no LE marking." Called KYGUNCO and sent pictures of the G17 I received and was told the piece I received is correct that LE trade in pieces do not necessarily having forward serration. I am very disappointed and wondering if this Glock 17 is put together with spare parts. I always liked KYGUNCO and made many purchases from them. Now I have to reconsider this vendor that post one thing and deliver another.

As Jason said, solid gun for $369, not $499. I came back to purchase another at $369, but then I saw that the price bumped up and that’s an easy no for me.

What you would expect, slide has a very small amount of wear and some surface scratches, slide release has some holster wear and gun came a little bit dirty. Mags are incredibly dirty, but mags are easy to clean and to be expected of a police trade in. Sights still have plenty of tritium life left which I was surprised by. Rifling is also 100 percent from what I can tell. Overall for the price pretty good and functional, would recommend.

At 369 the gun was a good deal, at 499 I would have been a little ticked off at the condition. The gun is a low round gun and the slide and barrel look new. The frame has some pretty bad gouges on the right side that make a solid 98% gun an 80% gun.

It was bought for a beater though and would be wearing a Talon grip so the frame condition doesn't matter a whole lot, but for something claimed to be marked down from 499... You'd expect a like new gun. For 369 though, I expected worse than I got, so I am pretty happy.

I got the box, cleaning rod, bent brush, and two mags. That was it for me.
