It’s big and ugly and a little heavy. I bought 150 rounds of jacketed ammo what Hi-Point recommended. I found Winchester Elite Defender .45 auto 230 grain Bonded Jacketed Hollow Point. Would recommend this ammo for this firearm.I’m wheelchair bound with not much strength. Left handed and right handed I was all over the target. Last 20 rounds holding the firearm with both hands 10 center mass hits and 10 head shots..I purchased this weapon for home defense. Just need to get use to the weight. Comes with a great case as well. 169.00 American made .45 auto. You can’t go wrong. I’m gonna buy a couple more for Christmas gifts.

Heard good and bad reviews,so tried it for myself.600 rounds out of the box,no problems and very accurate.Great deal for the money.A bit heavy but if I run out of ammo I can use it as a club.

bought the .45acp and the .45 pistol so that i can carry one type of ammo and not have to hunt for an extra clip. love these guns. made in ohio.. good fit and precision and the price is right. yes they are a little heavy but if you man up and carry them a little you get used to them. you have enough weapons and with a few spare mags you have enough firepower to stop a gang from breaking into your home. put the laser on the pistol, and am adding a small led light on the carbine. with two big dogs,the little bride and i can keep our home safe
