KAHR ARMS CW380 380 ACP 2.58" 6rd Pistol - Two-Tone
The Kahr CW380 features a lock breech, modified Browning type recoil lug, and utilizes Kahr's seven patents including the "safe cam" action found in all Kahr pistols. The result is a micro-compact pistol with very little recoil and quick follow-up shots. The pistol features drift adjustable white bar-dot combat rear sight and pinned-in polymer front sight.
Differences between the Kahr CW380 and Kahr P380 models include: the CW series has a conventional rifled barrel instead of the match grade polygonal barrel found on P models; the CW slide stop lever is MIM (metal-injection-molded) instead of machined; the CW series slide has fewer machining operations, and uses simple roll marking instead of engraved markings; the P380 comes with two magazines, but the CW series comes with one 6 rd steel magazine with flush baseplate. Lastly, the slide locks back after firing the last round – another feature missing on a number of other value-priced compact semi-auto pistols. The durability and reliability of the CW380 model makes it a strong consideration as a backup gun for law enforcement. 60079

I have the CW 380 in Burnt Bronze and Purple Poly, also 3 KAHR .40s. With all five, the only hiccups have been on the second round of the first magazine when new. All other times I have had 100-percent reliability even with re-loads which KAHR discourages. They all perform well on FMJ FP, although I use PMC 90-gr. round-nose predominately in .380 caliber. KAHR quality and ease of maintenance make these a dependable and enjoyable pistol to carry and shoot.
i didnt purchase my cw380 here, but should have. the sale price of 289 shipped is a steal. i put the required 200 round break in as per Kahr. one ftf on the second round the next 198 were flawless. 2.5 inch groups at 7 yrds, more than good enough for a self defense pistol. one recommendation, keep that right thumb away from the slide stop, or it wont lock back last round. just rest it between the slide stop and mag release. my LCP is now my fathers as the CW380 is much better.
Brand new the gun failed to return to battery every shot. Tried over 200 rounds trying to break-in the gun. Gave up, called Kahr. Took me 2 weeks calling to speak with a live person. They never returned any of my calls. They refused to pay shipping for warranty service, which cost me another $65 on top of $100 in wasted ammo. They kept the gun 7 weeks, never contacted me, then one day the FedEx guy brings my gun. Tried it again, no improvement whatsoever, and Kahr again wanted me to pay $65 to ship it back for another go-round. No thanks.
With the exception of failing to lock back on the last round, this gun has performed just as expected. Accuracy is surprisingly good for such a small gun. It disappears in an IWB holster. Ordered from KYGUNCO on Wednesday and it was at my FFL on Friday. Great service, I have ordered from them before and service was the same.
