The purchase process was quick, streamlined and easy, both for the pistol and for the extra magazine. The 1911 itself is just an incredible weapon, easy to carry, and excellent on the range or in the woods. It's easier to fire than I expected, so I am quite pleased. I am an old revolver guy, and the Kimber is actually the first semiauto I have owned, though I have fired many different calibers and makes of my friends and family. I am as comfortable with it as I am my go-to, a S&W .44 Magnum (also stainless); and it is actually directly comparable in my opinion and experience to a Springfield 1911 which my late uncle and cousin used for years. I was told that Springfield was THE 1911, but I find that the Kimber easily disproves that bit of folk wisdom. I bought it through gunbuy.com, at the suggestion of my step-son, who also owns a fine Kimber 1911.

The Kimber LW Arctic looks and it shoots great.

I did have 2 ftf out of the stock magazine, but otherwise it shot smoothly. I also tried 2 old Colt mags, a Mecgar mag and a Wilson Combat mag with NO problems at all.

It was at such a good price, I couldn't pass it up!

This was my second Kimber purchase and I am very happy with it. The price was outstanding shipping was fast and free which was the reason I purchased from Kygunco. There really is not much that needs to be said about Kimber, it shoots when you pull the trigger, the bullet goes where I was aiming.
