MOSSBERG Patriot 270 Win 22" 5rd Bolt Action Rifle w/ Vortex 3-9x40mm Scope - Black / Walnut

Back a few months ago I posted about the rifle I purchased here at Kentucky Gun Co. Well, I didnt get out in woods as much as I had planned, one of lifes many disappointments, I think you would agree. So after about the second or third time of making it out there, to hunt/scout pretty much at the same time, I saw a bear in the distance. Not being sure of the distance I used the Reticle of my scope to get some idea of about what kinda distance i may be dealing with. Trying to do the math in my head as fast as I could I would come up with about 300-320 yards depending on what numbers I used to do the math. So I did what anybody else would have done......I choose in the middle......and i did. Dress weight was 175 lbs

I have owned quit a few rifles over the years, for personal and for professional use, and i must say Mossberg did a suburb job on this rifle!! When first holding it in your hands you can immediately tell your holding a well balanced weapon that is paired with an exceptionally good scope, a Vortex Crossfire. When i went to the range to sight it in, I was impressed with how the rifle was very comfortable to hold. It was easy and didnt take more than 3 shots to zero in the scope at 100yrds and then I went on to shoot a 1/4 inch group of 5 shots at 100yrds. In my opinion this is an excellent rifle that can be used for everything from target shooting to hunting big game, I plan to hunt deer and bear with this rifle this season. Two great things that I need and want to mention. First, Is that you are getting an excellent deal for this combination rifle/scope. Second, which is important, the staff that work at Kentucky Gun Co. are very knowledgeable and provide you with excellent customer service!!!!
