This standard 8-shot version has receiver cuts to accept the direct mounting of low-profile, micro dot sights (Shield RMSc footprint) and included cover plate when an optic is not in use. The receiver is also drilled and tapped for the option of adding rail-mounted optics. If the forend didn’t have a slight rattle this would be a 5 star review. I replaced it with a Mesa Tactical aluminum forend and that rattle is worse. ??

KyGunCo processing and handling of firearm transactions are top notch! The price really good on the Mossberg 940 (~$700), but was backordered to the number of sales. The firearm still was delivered to my local FFL within 2 weeks of the order date. The shotgun is a nice fit in the sholder, has no raddles, and seems reliable after a few break-in rounds. Will need to update post some dedicated range time.
