The All-New 990 AfterShock. Small Size, Big Tactical Performance. Ultra-compact and easy to manuever, it delivers 5+1 semi-auto convenience paired with a host of functional tactical features. Inside, the 990’s durable gas system and a host of corrosion-resistant internal parts/finishing (nickel boron-coated gas piston, magazine tube, hammer and sear), plus an enlarged/beveled loading port, elongated elevator, and anodized follower combine for smooth operation. Outside, there’s the ergonomically-designed AfterShock grip with rubberized palm pad, a streamlined forend with Mossberg signature texturing, and an embossed strap for a solid hold; plus a magazine tube extension with M-LOK® mounting slots on the sides and bottom for easy accessory flexibility.
Designed with user convenience in mind, the AfterShock includes an enlarged and beveled loading port for smoother loading, an anodized bright orange follower, and an elongated, pinch-free elevator. Tactical features include a knurled charging handle, oversized ergonomic paddle-style bolt release, and a forend strap to safely keep the lead hand clear of the muzzle. Additionally, a magazine tube extension fixture with multi-sided M-LOK®-compatible slots enables fast and easy accessory customization. The oversized, ergonomic safety is easily accessible for both left- and right-handed shooters.
