REMINGTON 870 Tactical 12 Gauge 18.5" 6rd 3" Pump Action Shotgun - Black Synthetic

Awesome weapon for home defense. Only issue is the blade you press when loading a shell. Small and kinda sharp - but very nice weapon overall.

The new 870 developed by RemArms brings back the quality the 870 deserved that the Remington of old used to produce many years ago. I owned a Freedom Group 870 that was made ten years ago and now this new one by RemArms. The difference in quality is clear; the new one is fit well, the finish is nice and consistent and everything is just quality as the 870 ought to be. I've only taken it out a couple times so far but have shot about 100 rounds of high velocity 00 buck from 2-3/4" shells. Needless to say it has performed flawlessly so far.

I have also changed out a few things already from the plain Jane model including a Scattergun Technologies +1 extension and oversized safety, Magpul furniture and clamp. It has all fit seamlessly so no worries about compatibility with parts on these new models.

I am happy with the shotgun no doubt, but also really happy that RemArms has brought back this legendary shotgun and given it the treatment it lost. Can't wait to perhaps add a 700 later on.
