REMINGTON 700 CDL 30-06 Springfield 24" 4rd Bolt Rifle - Blued | American Walnut

The 30-06 CDL is a 24" bbl rifle even though the box sticker says 22". I have three other Rem Arms CDL's. The fit and finish is 5 star although I do wish they offerred gloss blue with a gloss stock. The current offerring here is matt and matt but it is still very attractive and that is why I have four of them. The accuracy is sub moa with handloads. It does come with a Timney Trigger that is somewhat adjustable but I changed it out to a Timney Hit trigger which comes factory set at 8oz and can be adjusted higher. That is what Rem Arms should have provided in the first place instead of a trigger that is approximately twice as heavy pull weight. The recoil pad on these CDL's fantastic. No big deal shooting the 270 and 30-06 with the stock pad. You still know you are shooting a long action high powered rifle but it's not knocking your fillings out. This would be a 5 star rifle if the price was lower and the trigger was lighter.
