FIrst of all, KYGUNCO cannot be beat in terms of price and shipping. Nobody else can touch the prices and to have the gun in my hands 2-3 days later is just amazing. As for the Remington 1911 R1S, its a beauty. My FFL is a competition shooter, as well as an avid collector of 1911's and USGI guns, so I highly value his advice and opinion. We opened the package and were stunned at the finish. He picked it up and did his thing with it. He checked for excessive play in the slide and trigger and couldn't find anything. He was very impressed with how "tight" everything is.The finish is perfect. The wood grips look and feel nice. Trigger pull is average, but not bad. The two stainless mags look and feel nice. I can't wait to take it to the range. I'm sure it will shoot great. I'll be sure to change the review if any issues, but I'm not expecting anything to go wrong. 10 out of 10 review on this. A US made 1911 for under $600... Can't be happier...
