The Ruger Precision Rifle is designed to give you maximum accuracy potential while simplifying the rifle's response to recoil. It achieves this through an in-line recoil path from the rear of the receiver to the buttstock, which means there's no need for traditional bedding or a "chassis" system. The Ruger Precision MSR stock is adjustable for length of pull and comb height, so you can get a comfortable fit no matter your size or shooting position. You can also attach slings or a monopod with ease, thanks to the multiple QD attachment points and Picatinny rail on the stock. The rifle is shipped with two 10-round Magpul PMAG magazines, and has a patent-pending Multi-Magazine Interface that works with different types of magazines. The highly-accurate barrel is free-floated and cold hammer-forged from 4140 chrome-moly steel with 5R rifling, which causes minimal bullet upset. The medium contour barrel (with 5/8in-24 threads for muzzle accessories) can be replaced easily by a competent gunsmith using AR-style wrenches and gauges.
