The looks of the gun is awesome Ruger Clapp and Talo did it justice the gun feels good in your hand The weight of the gun and the shape of the gun Reduces recoil perfect and the craftsmanship of the gun is like a SWISS WATCH and will last a life time you can shoots .357 commercial grade ammo In .357 with the same recoil of shooting a .38 of other guns and the gun with the special sights is accurate enough right out of the box and after a few rounds with adjustments the accurance is right on at 25 yards with a grouping within 1 in. And at 30 yards is about 3 ins and at 50 yards well I could keep the group within 5 ins with a few rounds out of 10 were 8 to 10 ins but it was probable me and not the gun. Now I have other Rugers the 327 federal mag in the 32 cal and the Speed Six in 9mm. I find that the Ruger SP101 Wiley Clapp and Talo make the gun better in accurance and the grips are the right length The 1 thing I didnt like is that the double action The trigger and hammer draw back is a little to long and tight a woman or an older man might have difficulty in this area but I would recommend The gun I would give it out of a rating of 1 to 10 10 being excellent I would give the gun a 8+ or 9 Louis Malta

Great looking sp101. Sights are great. Was planning on using it for CC, however before even getting it to the range the trigger failed, stuttering and hanging on trigger reset. Had to send it back to Ruger. Hopefully they will straighten things out for me. KYgunco did a good job getting the pistol to my FFL. I would buy from them again.
