I recently purchased the Ruger Single Seven. 327 Federal from Kentucky Gun. Shipping was prompt and arrived at my FFL in great shape.
I ordered a variety of .32 ammo remember the .327 revolvers fire all. 32 caliber and headed for the range.
The. 327 Federal is a POWERFUL round. I applied a firm grip not knowing what to expect but still was surprised at the recoil - not unpleasant but made itself known. At about nine yards I was getting about 2 1/2 inch groups... my wife, an infrequent shooter, kept it under 2 inches in spite of the recoil.
The American Eagle. 327 ammo left clean, wadcutter type holes in the paper.
The. 327 caliber is vastly misunderstood - there is the erroneous assumption this is just a fancy name for a .32. Not so. Its on a par with. 38+P. In fact, at the range someone approached me asking if it was a .44 magnum. Yup, that loud.
Ruger has created a beautiful, powerful and very accurate handgun. Its amazing to look at, fun to shoot, well balanced in the hand and quite reliable for self-defense.
I am very happy with the firearm and Kentucky Gun.
