Gun has been amazing and runs flawlessly. the 10 round mag doesn't fit super well and sometimes has a feeding issue, but the 5 rounder always runs great.

This rifle has been one of my most accurate 22's I own, no issues at all with anything, mags included. Shoots as well as my CZ and bergara BMR.

Although I haven't shot it yet, the quality of the build is great. The all black looks slick and stealthy, weights nice.

I bought this specifically to run with my Dead Air Mask HD to shoot quietly. It runs all ammo I've tried through it so far without issue. I can hit a 8 inch coffin steel plate target from the back door of my house 150yds away all day long. Great gun.

I love this little carbine. It looks and feels like a slightly scaled down version of my Savage PT-SR 308, and I guess the argument could be made for this as a trainer to the larger rifle, I don't see it being a perfect analog though. I mounted a Vortex Crossfire II 2-7×32 and this thing shoots lights out to 100 yards! Close in, its nearly impossible to miss. At 75 yards offhand I was hitting a 5" plate at least 50% of the time. If you do your job, this rifle will definitely do its. In that regard it would be a great entry level platform for beginners in long range shooting. All the fundamentals are the same and you'll get tons of practice learning dope because of the 22lr's crappy ballistics. My only complaint is the goofy looking and sometimes finicky magazines- Mags are easily the weak point of all my Savage rifles, rimfire or centerfire. Anyway, because of its accuracy and cheap ammo, its quickly become one of the most used firearms in my collection.

I bought this after buying a Savage Rascal Target 22LR for my grandson and being totally impressed with that gun - accurate, well made, great styling and great value. Figured I needed one like it but wanted more than a single shot - so this is my gun. I love that it comes with the picatinny rail and threaded barrel. 10 round mags are cheap and easy to find. Great price for a great gun.
