The XR920 combined the capacity of a full-size frame with the fast presentation of a shorter slide, and now Shadow Systems has introduced a new version with a quick-detach compensator! The XR920P adds Shadow Systems' unique proprietary compensator that helps reduce felt recoil by as much as 40% while only adding 1/2-inch to the overall length of the gun. Rather than threading on like most traditional compensators, this one attaches with a patented quick-detach tri-lug system that is integrated into the pistol's muzzle. Enhanced ergonomics and custom features such as the aggressive texture on the frame, the undercut trigger guard, extended beaver tail and recoil control ledge work together to increase control of the pistol and mitigate recoil. An accessory rail lets you mount lights or lasers, and directional serrations on the front, rear and top side of the slide provide excellent gripping surfaces when racking the slide, doing a chamber check, or clearing a malfunction. Weight reducing window cuts in the slide promote faster cycling times. The slide is machined from 17-4 stainless steel which has superior corrosion resistance and durability, and the barrel is made from 416R stainless steel, the steel of choice for firearms accuracy. For quick and easy sight alignment, the XR920P features a tritium front sight and serrated rear sight, but for additional sight options this model also includes Shadow Systems' patented Multi-Footprint Optic Cut. Its unique design allows for mounting of a wide variety of popular optic footprints including the Trijicon RMR/SRO, Holosun 407c/507c, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, Vortex Viper and more!
