SIG SAUER 716i Tread 7.62x51 NATO 16" 20rd - Black

Have used several ar style rifles and this one is built better than most. 2-3 inch groups with military 7.62x51, 1 inch groups with sierra matchings. Good value for a 308 ar. Can't see how a piston rifle would be much better.

The buying experience was great easy and no issues. The gun is very light for what it is and seems to be a quality build. I did change out the charging handle and trigger that come with this gun (CH was cheap and trigger was too heavy of a pull). Excited to go do some hog hunting with it.

KYGUNCO: Great responsiveness, fast shipping and very friendly folks on phone support. The Sig has some issues. Expect to change the trigger. It was like pulling a 9# sled through thick gravel between the wall and when it finally breaks. That's no exaggeration. A Geiselle G2S was my fix. Second, Sig has a proprietary charging handle that just doesn't work well once a scope is mounted. Their ambidextrous handle has been on back order for many weeks and is $50.00 which isn't bad. As a problem solver, I ordered a YHM Tactical Charging Handle Latch to allow me to run the rifle better until the ambi handle arrives. Well, guess what? The roll pin is smaller than mil-spec as well. Not willing to drill out the handle. Last option is to order the charging handle for the Sig 716 DMR. They ask $150.00 for it, but will discount it for you. Other than that it's a good rifle that shot 1.5 moa with 147gr ball before the trigger swap. Expecting sub moa with match grade ammo and new trigger.

Ordering was easy and they had my ffl on file. This rifle is sweet I added sig sauer sights and it is an amazing shooter.

The 716i is a great rifle. It is accurate and absolutely reliable. Off of a bipod with a 1-4x scope, I shot a sub MOA group with the 175 SMK and I4895. I want to buy another one when they are back in stock. KYGUN company had the best price.
