The pistol right out of the box felt great in my hand. Compared to my EDC Glock 19 MOS, it just feels more comfortable to hold. The grip is aggressive but feels secure and IMO does not need to be sanded. I've only put a about 50 rounds down it and it shot well and accurately. The highlight of this pistol though is the trigger and reset--definitely the best of any of my other pistols. I can't really comment on the optic yet because I haven't zeroed it but I did eventually mount it. (Yes, it doesn't come with the hex head to remove the cover plate but every gun owner that is dealing with any mounted weapon accessories should already have a set). However, I don't like the fact that it never turns off. There's also a limited set of alternatives for other optics since there are no adapter plates. It's these two things that makes this a 4* instead of 5* pistol.
But once I have the red dot that I can't turn off zeroed and I find the right holster I think I'll make this my new primary EDC.
