This is the second M&P 22 Magnum that I have ordered - great pistol! Easy take down and operation. Flawless operation with CCI maxi and Hornady ammo. I did happen to loose the magazine plunger pin when switching from right to left hand mag release. I called Smith & Wesson and they sent one free of charge. Great customer service!

Great BANG for your buck. Excellent way to practice fundamentals without spending money on 9mm ammo. Love the trigger. It's loud with a great flash that grabs attention at the indoor range so you may want to shoot it outdoors instead. Nice grip texture. The layaway option was great and it shows quickly after my last payment
Cons: feels like you're holding a 2x4 but that's my only complaint after 300 rounds

Purchased this firearm from Kygunco in July/August 2023, using their layaway program. Received it a few days later after I paid it off. I have had it for enough time now to leave a review. Really my only complaint is that you will, possibly, feel some blowback on your arms and face from unburnt powder. Safety Glasses are a must, as they should ALWAYS be worn, After shooting and cleaning the firearm, there were tiny specks of unburnt powder throughout the action. The gun has practically no recoil and functioned properly with all the brands of ammo that I used. I definitely recommend this gun to anyone considering its purchase, especially now that the current sale price is considerably less than what I purchased it for. Excellent gun. So far I have only used CCI Mini Mag ammo but it has run flawlessly. Absolutely no miss fires or failure to feed or eject. And it is extremely accurate.

Great pistol. Read the ammo recommendations and the gun will run. Great fun to shoot; smooth, accurate, barely any recoil, and mags go on forever with 30 rounds.
Paired nicely with the Holosun 407K X2 optic although the stocks sights are very user friendly too.
Don’t doubt 22 Magnum as a protective round, especially with 31 of them.

I hadn’t shot my new Smith and Wesson, but I took it with me back in the field walking. A huge coyote came out of the woods and was acting aggressive. I always carry 2 firearms with me, so I chose my New Smith &Wesson 22mag, needless to say the coyote won’t bother me again. I emptied the mag afterwards and it functioned perfect. I used CCI ammo. A great ammo for this firearm..
Great job Smith &Wesson , I can always count on you products. By the way my backup was a Glock 43.
