SMITH & WESSON M&P9 Shield 9mm 3.1" 8rd Pistol w/ Loaded Indicator CA Compliant - Black

I purchased this over the Kahr PM9 and the Ruger LC9. I already had one 9mm and wanted to add another using the same ammo just for the ease. Having read numerous reviews and enjoying the quality of S&W I went ahead and got it. Im glad I did. Comparing its shot to the LC9, the trigger is vastly different. You get a nice long trigger pull with the Shield and the LC9 has a much different break to it. I cant compare it to the Kahr as I havent shot one yet. I do know it is a little larger than the Kahr and basically the same size as the LC9. Combine it with an IWB holster and you have a carry weapon that is virtually invisible with standard clothing. I would highly recommend this gun.

This is the one to get - if you can find one. These are hot pistols for a reason. They are perfect for CCW! The thin slide is perfect for summer carry as well as good capacity at a comfortable size.

It is also nice that S&W includes a 6 and 7 round magazine with the pistol. That alone says a lot about the intent with this pistol.

Functionally it is also perfect. No feed issues, no FTF issues - nothing wrong at all. It also has an external safety which is great for a striker fired pistol.
