The MFMD-MD is an NFA-regulated muzzle device engineered to deliver measurable signature and recoil reduction on 5.56 platforms. Designed for rifles with 1/2x28 threads, it mounts flush with a 0.0" over-the-barrel requirement—installation is possible only when the barrel shoulder sits even with or ahead of any obstruction, ensuring a true direct-thread interface.
The device installs using the included shims and torque tool, eliminating the need for adapters while providing precise alignment. Once mounted, the MFMD-MD significantly reduces flash, sound at the shooter’s ear, and rearward recoil force compared to a standard flash hider. These performance gains are achieved without altering bolt velocity and without the additional SD or SDX components.
