The MFMD-MD/SDX system is a compact, hearing-safe NFA suppressor solution that integrates a primary muzzle device with a removable Suppressor Device Extended (SDX) module. Designed for 5.56/.223 rifles threaded 1/2×28, the system delivers extreme reductions in flash, sound pressure, and recoil while maintaining reliable cycling and stable bolt velocity.
The unit requires 1.3" of OTB (over-the-barrel) clearance when measured from the barrel shoulder to the first obstruction. If the rifle does not provide that space, the system will not seat correctly—simple and decisive.
Installation is direct-thread and uses the included shim set and torque tool for proper alignment. No adapters, mounts, proprietary caps, or secondary interfaces are required. Together, the MD and SDX modules provide a dramatic performance jump over the MD alone, with maximum signature suppression in the smallest footprint possible.
