TAURUS 605 357 Mag 2" 5rd Revolver - Stainless

My 2nd one and it's just as the first. Great to shoot, changed out the 2 finger grip for the 3 finger Hogue grip... Waay more control on a +p 38 and 357. But as with the first one, you need a .38 cal hone to clean up the misalignment of the ejector plate so (all) the rounds will load and unload properly.....

The Taurus 605 has been a great addition to my carry rotation, comfortably carried in the appendix position unnoticed and easily accessible. It is a lot to handle one handed in 357 mag but 38 special is a joy ( recently had elbow surgery so shooting non dominant hand) I opted to upgrade the front sight to a hi viz orange and green tritium night sight from Taurus for $30. I also upgraded the grips to the ZV Hyena Brown. The grip upgrade provides a better purchase when shooting one handed. This does increase the grip size but not enough to cause it to print. Would purchase again 10/10 times!

I never could understand why people buy a .357 magnum then use .38 Ammo...I use Federal.357 magnum 180 grain jacketed hollow point ammo. I bought this firearm for a house gun. Lite and feels good in my hand. It’s got a little buck to it. Before I made it to the range to test it, just 2 nights ago a coyote followed my little dog through the doggie door..I squeezed off all 5 shots in double action with ease from about 15 feet away disintegrating the coyotes head. I missed the 1st shot hit and hit the solid wood back door and left a inch n a half hole on the back side of the door..Taurus has really stepped up its game with competing with other more popular gun manufacturers..same bang just less money...you can’t beat Kentucky Guns price’s either. This is my second firearm I bought from them..gettin ready to buy a . 44 magnum Taurus to add to my collection...Great customer service received the weapon under 7 days of purchasing it on line...
