This is my 1st Taurus revolver. My very 1st .357mag was a 6" Ruger GP100 and I loved that revolver! I gave it to my son, so I needed another .357 so I decided on the Taurus 66. I absolutely love this Taurus 66! Mine is a 4" barrel and the trigger in DA was surprisingly light & smooth! The recoil is very manageable too! I've had no issues at all firing this revolver! The grip is slightly narrower than the GP100, but very comfortable to me. And because it's a 4" barrel, it's easier for concealed carry. My Taurus 66 is 7 Rds. and all black, but I did apply some green phosphorescent sight paint to the front sight, it works great! Love this gun!
