For the money it’s a nice revolver. Cycles/functions perfectly. Action is a bit gritty, but the cylinder locks up tight on each chamber. Single action is pretty clean and light. Finish is good looking but easily marred. The windage adjustable rear sight needs some blue Locktite to keep it in place after some cycling.
Tried to register the gun for warranty by serial number at Taurus website, but the number on the frame was unrecognized. Tried calling instead by phone to register the gun, and the wait was too long. Opted for a callback that didn’t come.
Great little gun with 8 rounds of 22 WMR. The shortcomings listed above are well-documented with Taurus. We get what we pay for.

Nice 22WMR revolver. I got the 3” in black and it is great, but still looking for the 2”ultra lite . Hard to believe they are this hard to find, I have been waiting for almost 2years .

Kygunco was great, but my 942 wasn't functional when it left the factory. The revolver wouldn't fire a single round on its first range trip. Taurus has eared their horrible reputation for quality control. I love the concept of an 8-round .22 Magnum revolver, but I would avoid this gun at all costs. I may update the review when Taurus returns the gun to me, but I have no idea when that will be.
