This steel mounting rail is built like a tank for years of service, and attaches to any M14/M1A rifle using a mounting hole on the left side of the receiver. It is the perfect platform on which to mount any optical sighting device that is compatible with the M1913/Picatinny-style rail system. Will not work with the Springfield SOCOM II rifle with the cluster rail system in place.
