The extended front wedge acts as an angle grip and the truncated back strap allows for a compact profile and minimal excess bulk. The skeleton structure keeps unnecessary ounces off of your rifles front end while being slim enough to fit flush on most low profile rail systems. The Hamer Grip uses KeyMod locking pegs, and is only compatible with KeyMod rail systems.
