The PK380 is not just good looking. It is small and good looking. That makes the PK380 excellent for concealed carry. Its small grip is ideal for shooters with small hands. The slide is easy to operate, making it a good choice for women. The light weight goes unnoticed in a pocket or purse. Credit Walther Performance Design for another hit. Small is indeed beautiful.

Good for the price and never jammed up
The PK380 is an excellent choice for CC. While the 380ACP might not have the same ballistics data as the 45ACP or even the 9x19mm, it doesnt fall very short and is a good caliber for self-defense. What makes the PK380 so attractive is that because of its size, it has very little felt recoil. Couple the lower felt recoil with a slide that is very easy to engage and you have a firearm that is very good as an EDC everyday carry firearm. If you have trouble racking the slide on a handgun maybe you have arthritis or low hand strength or are recoil sensitive, then I highly recommend this handgun.
This is also a single-stack designed magazine. This means that instead of having two bullets sitting almost side-by-side in the magazine, they are stacked directly one on top of another. This makes for a narrower grip, but also lower capacity. The PK380 has a capacity of 8+1. More than mouse guns but less than double stack handguns. The PK380 fits very well into small and medium sized hands. It is very comfortable to shoot, and with lower felt recoil is very easy to keep on target between rounds.
Weve put around 1500 rounds through ours without a single failure no failure to feed, no failure to fire, no failure to extract.
It isnt without its quirks paddle magazine release, safety position but all guns have quirks. Nothing on this handgun is a deal breaker, and I cannot recommend it enough.
As any review goes, it depends what your looking for. For me, this is a fantastic gun...Sure, Id love to have a few more features but then again, its not that expensive either. My example of this, Id rather have a push button mag release rather than the paddle release..but its not a deal breaker. Everything Walther marketed about this has held true - this firearm is truly easy to use for anyone with arthritis, seniors, disabilities, etc. I fall into this category and fully action this firearm. Ive never had any failures of any sort - and Ive waited over a year since I purchased it in order to be able give it a fair testing period and review. I do use this as my conceal carry and with no over-saturation of after-market accessories there is enough to be satisfied and fulfill anyones needs.
Bought this gun on sale for my conceal carry as it has a low profile and good safety features. No problems cycling rounds, has a good sense of balance and minimal kick. The end of the hammer spring kind of sticks out a bit, but thats cosmetic. My wife likes it so its going to be hers when she gets her CHL. Ill upgrade to 1911.
Bought this a few years ago. It jammed consistently right out of the box. After 200 + rounds, I decided it wasnt going to get better. S&W customer service SUCKED. They kept the gun for months before sending back and I doubt they did anything to it. After its second trip to the shop on my dime and hours of arguing with customer service they finally traded out the whole gun... Only to have to rear sight fall out after less than 100 rounds. I had a very hard time bragging about owning this gun.
Bought this for my wife. She fell in love with it in the store when it fit in her hand. She doesnt have man hands. Light recoil but packs the need authority and its easy to install the laser sight. Loved it so much I got me one to carry.
