WALTHER CCP M2 380ACP 3.54" 8rd Semi-Auto Pistol - Stainless / Angel Blue

The recoil management system in this pistol is superb. Granted 380ACP doesn't generate a ton of recoil but for someone who is recoil-sensitive, like my wife, its a total game changer. This replaced a compact single stack 9mm that my wife dreaded shooting and could not consistently work the slide on. Even with Hornady Critical Defense Lite loads, my wife still did not enjoy shooting it and I rarely could ever get her to practice with it. This Walther has changed all that; she can easily manipulate the slide, the recoil does not bother her at all and she has already put more rounds downrange than she did in three years of ownership of said 9mm. She actually likes shooting her "pretty" Walther. I would compare the overall recoil impulse to that of a 22 magnum in a full-size pistol= not much at all. Its fun to shoot and has not exhibited any malfunctions to date, which is doubly impressive as I was using this pistol to clean out my ~20 year old stash of 380!
